Do it in the cashier
Sign in and open Deposit. Choose Other Methods and select PayPal if it is available for the account.
Read the displayed minimum, maximum, processing time and any provider fee before continuing.
Choose the PayPal account in your own name and use the email registered with Paddy Power.
Complete the PayPal sign-in and authorisation prompt. If the provider asks for a bank top-up first, allow its stated time.
Wait for the confirmation screen and then check the account transaction history.
When withdrawing, select PayPal from the methods offered and read the amount and arrival estimate shown.

How the route works
A deposit from an existing PayPal balance can be processed immediately once the PayPal authorisation succeeds. Paddy Power’s FAQ also describes a bank-funded PayPal route for Irish customers: top up the PayPal account from a bank first, which usually takes two days, then use that PayPal balance to deposit. The bank top-up time is separate from the Paddy Power deposit time.
Only methods available in a country appear in the operator’s Other Methods area. The cashier is therefore the final check for your account. It also shows the current minimum, processing estimate and any applicable method information; the public help centre does not provide one fixed PayPal limit for Irish users.
Choose the right route
The payment FAQ says the payment method must belong to the account holder. It also explains that the PayPal email visible on the Paddy Power payment page must be used, and that an updated PayPal email may need support to update the account record. The help centre says only one PayPal account can be added to a Paddy Power account.
If the PayPal sign-in window does not open, check whether the browser is blocking the pop-up. When it does open, finish the provider authorisation and return to Paddy Power; a successful PayPal login alone is not confirmation that the deposit posted to the account.
Ireland account details
Some Paddy Power promotions specify debit card or Apple Pay as the qualifying deposit method. PayPal is not named in that method rule, so do not assume a PayPal deposit qualifies. Read the current offer conditions first, then choose the method stated in the offer if you want the deposit to count.
Paddy Power says PayPal withdrawals can take up to 24 hours to process during busy periods. That is an operator processing estimate; any further transfer from PayPal to your bank has its own timing. The withdrawal screen provides the expected route for the request you submit.
If the transaction stops
Paddy Power advises checking the browser pop-up blocker when the PayPal page does not open. Allow the requested window, return to the cashier and confirm whether the attempt completed before starting another one.
Paddy Power says it cannot see why PayPal declined a particular deposit. Check the provider transaction status and contact PayPal support for the decline reason. If a bank top-up is pending, wait for that step before repeating the Paddy Power deposit.
Use the email displayed for PayPal in the Paddy Power payment area. If your PayPal email changed after account setup, contact Paddy Power support to update the address recorded on the account.
