Paddy Power describes Pay by Bank as an Open Banking route that links an eligible bank account to the account. For Ireland, the account currency needs to be EUR and the linked bank account needs to be an eligible Irish EUR account. The available institutions appear when you add a bank association; the list can depend on the bank and current connection support.
Paddy Power says instant deposits are available for eligible Irish banks. Withdrawal timing is different: its Ireland-specific help currently says instant withdrawals are available to Revolut users, while non-instant withdrawals typically arrive in 2–6 hours. Do not read the generic “instant” description as a promise that every Irish bank pays out instantly.
Choose the right route
A first deposit can delay a withdrawal
The payment help page says that after the initial Pay by Bank deposit, a withdrawal can be unavailable for up to 24 hours. It also describes an initial withdrawal allowance period and says later instant withdrawals depend on the eligible account. Check the withdrawal screen after the first deposit instead of assuming a cash-out button will be active immediately.
Your own bank determines account limits. The Paddy Power help centre says you can see and customise limits after linking the method. The published minimums are €5 to deposit and €0.01 to withdraw; no single maximum for Irish customers is listed in the public help article.
Ireland account details
Start the transfer inside Paddy Power
A Pay by Bank deposit needs to start in the Paddy Power app or cashier and continue through the bank’s authorisation page. The operator specifically says not to send a separate transfer to Paddy Power from the Revolut app: a payment made outside its cashier has to be returned and may need support help.
Once the bank confirms the authorisation, return to the account and read the completion status. If the bank shows a debit but the balance is unchanged, use the missing-deposit steps below and keep the transaction reference available.
Use Revolut through Pay by Bank inside the Paddy Power cashier.
Instant withdrawals are currently available to Revolut users in Ireland.
Paddy Power does not charge the transaction; your provider may apply its own charge. The Irish cashier displays the current method limits.
Check the current offer terms; some qualifying deposits require a debit card or Apple Pay.
If the transaction stops
If the bank route pauses
Your bank is missing from the list
The Irish account needs to be in EUR and supported by the current bank list. If the institution is not shown, choose another cashier method such as standard SEPA bank transfer; do not attempt to make a direct transfer from the bank app into the betting account.
A deposit appears in the bank but not in Paddy Power
Check the cashier result and account transaction history. Paddy Power notes that a connection issue can leave funds stuck during processing. Do not repeat the transfer until its first status is clear; contact customer support with the time and reference if it remains unresolved.
The withdrawal is not instant
For Irish accounts, Paddy Power currently identifies Revolut as the instant-withdrawal option. Other eligible banks are typically shown as non-instant and can take 2–6 hours. Check the expected time for the selected bank in the withdrawal screen.
Before a payout
Documents and account matching
Pay by Bank authenticates through the bank you select, and Paddy Power says no IBAN is needed to link the account. Use an account in your own name or a joint account where you are an account holder. If a separate account review asks for documents, provide them through the account support flow.
